Church Service
Day by day, the monks of the community, joined by the faithful of the region, celebrate the liturgies in this House of God, singing Gregorian chant in Latin as well as prayers in German.
The monastic services and holy masses in the abbey church are open to all. Please be seated before the beginning, and don’t leave before the ending.
On Sundays and church holidays
- 09.00 a.m.: Community High Mass with Terce and incense, with chant in Latin, readings and prayers in German, with homily, with organ music
- 12.05 p.m.: Midday Prayer (Sext and None) in German
- 05.30 p.m.: Celebrated Vespers, chant in Latin, reading in German, with Blessing, with organ music
- 07.30 p.m.: Compline, in German or Latin
On weekdays
- 09.00 a.m.: Community High Mass with Terce, chant in Latin, readings and prayers in German, with organ music
- 12.05 p.m.: Midday Prayer (Sext and None) in German
- 06.00 p.m.: Vespers, chant in Latin, reading in German, with organ music
- 07.30 p.m.: Compline, in German or Latin

The community is praying 150 psalms every week, following the monastic pattern “B”.
At mass we are following the ordinary rite.
